Ezekiel 9

Tattoos saved my life.

Ezekiel 9 gives us a glimpse into the last days for Israel.  God sends His angel around the world to mark everyone who remains faithful to the Lord.  Ezekiel is concerned.

The remnant of Israel seems to be suffering.

At this point, Ezekiel looks around and sees destruction on many of those around him.  His country is losing ground.  His people are dying out because of sin.  What does he do?

Ezekiel begins to plea.

This seems very simple, but I wonder how many of us would do the same.  How much time do you spend praying for a dying nation?  A troubled world?   A hurting land?

We are not all given the sight that Ezekiel had.  We cannot see who will live or die - who will be persecuted or spared.

Without that vision, for whom should we pray?
