Ezekiel 14
Ezekiel 14 speaks to our need of repentance.
What does that mean to us? Ezekiel is speaking to a group of people that are comfortable with their lives. They are happy living in idol worship. They seek nothing - for they feel like life is too good just the way it is. No provocation by God.
They worship idols, they are unfaithful, they have become something that the people of God are not allowed to become:
CONTENT
Content with the idols.
Ross King sings a song with the lyrical reminder, "We must not worship something that's not even worth it."
So God warns us, and them - I will set My face against that man...
Not where I want to be. What can I do to avoid this predicament?
