Ezekiel 39
More of the judgment of God - and Israel.
Verse 9 of Ezekiel 39 tells a story of the end of war: "Then those who inhabit the cities of Israel will go out, and make fires with the weapons and burn them... and for seven years they will make fires of them."
What does the end of war look like?
Imagine if all of the weapons were turned to ash. It seems difficult, but what God is talking about here is not an end of the enemies weapons. He is speaking of the end of all weapons. Do you realize what happens when an enemy attacks and you have no weapons. You have to defend yourself with peace. Or you become a slave. Or you let God defend you.
What option will you choose?
