Philippians 1:10 -11
"Helping you to approve the superior things, that you may be pure and blameless in the day of Christ, having been filled with the fruit of righteousness through Jesus Christ to the glory and praise of God."
Remember, Paul is speaking about the increase of the Philippians love with knowledge (verse 9), and here we discover what benefit that produces: blamelessness and purity.
It is with our knowledge (our brain) that we study what is superior. Our mind is that which helps us explore, scientifically. Paul is suggesting that we analyze and interpret the higher things - our relationship with Christ, God's love for us, God's glory.
The question is: How can you become more filled with the fruit of righteousness because of your thoughts? What part does the mind play in your discovery of God? (or did God simply create the mind to confuse us out of our relationship with God?)
