Philippians 2:8-9
"And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore also God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name."
It appears there is a reward for obedience. A reward for becoming humble.
Here Paul dives into the humanity of God. Jesus, Emmanuel, comes to His planet - created for Him, by Him - all the earth displays God's glory - this alone suggests that we mortal humans do not control Earth, nor does Satan.
So God visits His creation, while in the form of the man - the being He has seen fit to give stewardship over the earth.
And what does Jesus do with His humanity? The gift of physical life? Flesh and blood?
He humbles Himself - and receives a reward.
It begs the question: What do we do with our life? humanity? flesh and blood?
How can we learn to humble ourselves and take on the form of Christ?
