Philippians 3:17-19

"Brethren, join in following my example, and observe those who walk according to the pattern you have in us.  For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ, whose end is destruction, whose god is their appetite, and whose glory is in their shame, who set their minds on earthly things."

Paul is continuing the idea of "pathway" as a symbol for the personal relationship with Christ.

On a sad note, Paul reminds the Philippians that some walk that pathway and for reasons other than Christ.  They walk and have their mind set on "earthly things".  They consider their lives higher than the life of Christ.  Suddenly, they become enemies of the cross.

What is the difference between a man walking toward Christ and a man walking from Christ?
What is the difference between a man living for Christ and one living away from Christ?

How do you find out whether you are on the correct path or the false path?
What do you do when you find you are on the wrong path?
