Song of Songs 7:1-5

"How beautiful are our feet in sandals, O prince's daughter!  The curves of your hips are like jewels, the work of the hands of an artist.  Your navel is like a round goblet which never lacks mixed wine; your belly is like a heap of wheat fenced about with lilies.  Your two breasts are like two fawns, twins of a gazelle, your neck is like a tower of ivory, your eyes are like the pools in Heshbon by the gate of Bath-ribbim; your nose is like the tower of Lebanon, which faces toward Damascus.  Your head crowns you like Carmel, and the flowing locks of your head are like purple threads; the king is captivated by your tresses."

There is no way to read this quote from the groom without realizing his love for his bride.  Here, Solomon spends time looking at the physical person of his bride - and all he sees is perfection.  He compliments every part of her and makes sure she hears it.

This is a great lesson for those of us who are in love.  Spend time admiring the one you love and you will be blessed.

This is also a great object lesson as to the time and energy God spends on praising you and I.  Every characteristic is discovered by Jesus.  Every move we make is found.  Through it all, God tells us how much He loves us.

Your challenge today is to spend time discovering different aspects of God to praise.
