Mark 5:1-13

There are a few very interesting remarks that Mark makes about this demon possessed man.

Verse 6 says that he ran up and bowed in front of Jesus.  Why would he do that, when his next move is to tell Jesus not to change him?  Have you ever run for help, only to arrive and decide that you were too proud to ask after all?

Verse 8 tells us that Jesus had been trying to get the unclean spirits out of the man.  Why was it taking so much time and effort to rid this man of this force?  Was the man hindering Him?  Was the legion hindering Him?  What finally made the difference?

Sometimes God wants to do a work in our life but we are unwilling.  Can God still use you?  What can you do to stop resisting God?  Who will you help today, after trying many times to lend a hand?

Do we want to see change?
