Mark 5:35-43
We love the gentleness with which Jesus treats these people. The woman who "stole" power from Jesus in verses 25-34, Jairus, who should lead the synagogue in faith, but has little when it comes to his daughter. All of these, Jesus looks at with love and compassion.
The same is true when Jairus and the healed woman stand face to face. Both have a need. Both are hurting. The two would never cross paths if it were not for Jesus' healing power.
And Jesus reaches into both of them.
Because they invited Him.
Does Jesus' healing power work in your life? Do you allow it to work through you? How do you approach the needy? How do you look at the hurting? What face do you show the enemy?
Do you love?
