Mark provides a post script for chapter 6.

In the last few verses here, Mark tells us of the benefits of the life that is devoted to God's work. 

Jesus moves from miracle to miracle, from changed life to changed life.  And after another time of walking on water, Mark tells us again of the popularity of the Man of Authority.  Verse 55 tells us that the whole country brought the sick and hurting to Jesus.

What would make a whole country work together for one end? 

What would bring a whole area to the feet of Jesus?

All they wanted to do was touch the cloak of the Healer - and as many as touched it, were healed.

This is what happens when the love of God abounds.
