Jesus is dealing with a man that is not a follower.  He has told Jesus that he struggles with belief.  He went to the disciples first to heal his son.  When they could not, he entered into a conversation with them that appears to be a little heated.

Then Jesus shows up on the scene.

Jesus heals this man's son in spite of his moments of unbelief.  In spite of the lack of faith in the generation.  In spite of the lack of commitment.

Here is the lesson for all of us:  What could hold Jesus back from healing our lives?  Nothing.
