Mark's gospel is completed with words of commission.

Mission for sure, in that Christ asks His followers to go and preach.  They do.  Thus the church as we know it begins.  The message is entrusted to people like you and me.  We are asked to give it away, just like Jesus did, with our lives.

But there is something about co-mission involved here too.  Verse 20 tells us that the Lord worked with the disciples to see the Word go out.

And God still works with us today.  He is our Partner and Sender.

But what does that mean?

God's mission:  Bring people to life.
Our mission:  Bring people to Life.

We are allowed to work together with God.  And we will see Life.
