Micah 7:7-8
"But as for me, I will watch expectantly for the Lord; I will wait for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy. Though I fall, I will rise; Though I dwell in darkness, the Lord is a light for me."
Let's remember who Micah is representing here:
Himself.
Israel.
Christ.
So he tells his enemy that he will fall and rise again. What does he mean?
When he says that his God will hear him, what does that imply?
When Micah tells his listeners that he expects to hear fro God, what does that say about God's relationship with Christ, with Israel, with Micah.
This is a confidence statement. Micah is sure, beyond doubt, that God will rescue and provide for him.
He who is like Jehovah knows God has a plan.
