"With a leap he stood upright and began to walk; and he entered the temple with them, walking and leaping and praising God.  And all the people saw him walking and praising God;  and they were taking note of him as being the one who used to sit at the Beautiful Gate of the temple to beg alms, and they were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.  While he was clinging to Peter and John, all the people ran together to them at the so-called Portico of Solomon, full of amazement."

It is an amazing thing to watch as a life is being changed.  Let's look at this response to new life:

He is leaping and standing up and walking.  His legs have just been strengthened, but he will not be trepidatious, he will use his legs as much as he can.  When we find new life - we live it to the fullest, not conservatively.

He is praising God.  He knows who is responsible for this new life.  Notice he does not praise Peter.  He respects the messenger, but Peter has done a great job of pointing this man toward the Giver of life.

He is seen by all.  New life is never to be hidden, but celebrated.  This man refuses to hide his light under a bushel.

Everyone is amazed.  When we see new life in someone, we should be amazed. 

Maybe there will be a movement of amazement near your life this week as people begin to see what life looks like in you.
