Acts 6:5-7

"The statement found approval with the whole congregation; and they chose Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and Phillip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas and Nicholas, a proselyte from Antioch.  And these they brought before the apostles; and after praying they laid their hands on them.  The word of God kept on spreading; and the number of the disciples continued to increase greatly in Jerusalem, and a great many of the priests were becoming obedient to the faith."

Here is why the church in the first century grew so well.  They allowed room for their leaders to grow.  They didn't hold them back.  They simply said: use your talents and grow into those talents.  There seems to be only one stipulation.  Being full of the Holy Spirit.

What does it mean to walk around filled with the Holy Spirit?

It means that you are changed by the mere presence of God.  You don't have to be more obedient (though that is often a side effect), you simply enjoy being around God.  You live life in a way that celebrates His closeness.  You see people as reflections of His visitation...

And then you grow.

What are you seeking to become more of a leader like Stephen?
