Acts 13:23-26
"From the offspring of this man, according to promise, God has brought to Israel a Savior, Jesus, after John had proclaimed before His coming a baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel. And while John was completing his course, he kept saying, 'What do you suppose that I am? I am not He, but behold, One is coming after me the sandals of whose feet I am not worthy to untie.' Brethren, sons of Abraham's family, and those among you who fear God, to us the word of this salvation is sent out."
To say that the word is sent out means more than just: someone is getting the message.
The words "sent out" are "apostle".
Paul is saying that the word of salvation is more than just a word - more than just an action - more than just an accomplishment.
Salvation is apostled.
It has taken on the form of Man. This is the reason for Jesus' visit. This is the reason John said what he said. This is the reason Abraham was born... All so salvation could take on the form of Man.
When you go, do you show salvation?

Showing salvation is doing what Jesus did: loving the unlovable. Showing salvation is sharing our trials and sufferings that we've overcome through accepting the free gift of His love and redemptive power to proof to others that they can do the same. Just as Jesus showed His scars to the disciples after His resurrection, we can do the same and say, "See? These wounds, they have turned to scars that don't hurt anymore. I survived." We can be sure that we will not escape trial and suffering in this life. What a pity it is for those who never experience the comfort, reassurance, joy and peace He offers in the midst of them.
