Acts 13:27-31

"For those who live in Jerusalem, and their rulers, recognizing neither Him nor the utterances of the prophets which are read every Sabbath, fulfilled these by condemning him.  And though they found no ground for putting Him to death, they asked Pilate that He be executed.  And when they had carried out all that was written concerning Him, they took Him down from the cross and laid Him in a tomb.  But God raised Him from the dead;  and for many days He appeared to those who came up with Him from Galilee to Jerusalem, the very ones who are now His witnesses to the people."

As Paul is recounting the death and resurrection of Jesus, we see the amount of interaction Jesus had with the people of the area.

First, the people that put Him to death.  Paul tells us that they were instruments in Jesus' mission - even though they were unaware.  You do not need to know what scripture says in order to be a part of scripture.  You do, however, get the sense that a knowledge of what God said would have been helpful in the receiving of Jesus by the crowd.

Second, we see the people that came with Jesus from Galilee.  These people, apostles now, would be rewarded for their obedience to God's plan.

The challenge is not for us to know what God is doing, but to listen for what God wants us to do.  We listen to scripture, revelation, signs and wonders, and most importantly: Jesus!

How will you connect with Jesus today?
