Acts 23:31-35

"So the soldiers, in accordance with their orders, took Paul and brought him by night to Antipatris.  But the next day, leaving the horsemen to go on with him, they returned to the barracks.  And when these had come to Caesarea and delivered the letter to the governor, they also presented Paul to him.  And when he had read it, he asked from what province he was; and when he learned he was from Cilicia, he said, 'I will give you a hearing after your accusers arrive also,' giving orders for him to be kept in Herod's Praetorium."

This is what the rest of the world would call a great inconvenience.

Paul is forced to stay with the Roman Praetorium.  He is asked to remain in the governor's possession until his accusers get there to bring charges against him.  He must stay in a prison environment, and that is inconvenient in this world.

But what the world sees as inconvenient, God sees as 'according to plan'.

God has Paul in this position so he can introduce a whole new demographic to Christ.  So God does not mind Paul's inconvenience.

Neither does Paul.  He sees the will of God being done.

Do you let your circumstances dictate God's movement in your life?
Or do you let God's will dictate the way you look at your circumstances?
