Ruth 3:14-18

"So she lay at his feet until morning and rose before one could recognize another; and he said, 'Let it not be known that the woman came to the threshing floor.'  Again he said, 'Give me the cloak that is on you and hold it.'  And he measured six measures of barley and laid it on her.  Then she went into the city.  And when she came to her mother-in-law she said, 'How did it go, my daughter?'  And she told her all that he had done for her.  And she said, 'These six measures of barley he gave to me, for he said, "Do not go to your mother-in-law empty-handed."'  Then she said, 'Wait, my daughter, until you know how the matter turns out; for the man will not rest until he has settled it today.'"

Ruth is now learning a tough lesson.  How to trust in the man she loves.

Naomi's instructions are simple:  Wait until Boaz takes care of everything.  The implication, Boaz will take care of everything.  He will not rest until he has settled the issue of redeeming Ruth.

This is where we see Jesus:

To believe in Jesus is one thing, but to trust in Him is an entirely more difficult subject.  Yet trusting in Jesus is exactly what He wants us to do - and why?  This is how He loves.  This is how we accept His love.  This is how His love becomes powerful to change and help and save us.

Trust God, He will not rest until this thing of redeeming you is accomplished.
