"This is the One who came by water and blood, Jesus Christ:  Not with the water only, but with the water and with the blood.  And it is the Spirit who bears witness, because the Spirit is the truth.  For there are three that bear witness, the Spirit and the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement.  If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater; for the witness of God is this, that He has borne witness concerning His Son."

There is something beautiful about John's writing here.  It is the answer to what most people are hoping for:  God is there.

God understands what you are going through.  He Knows. 

His testimony is blood and Spirit and water.  Our testimony is blood and Spirit and water. 

We are connected to God because He desires to connect with you.  He has been there.  He came to meet you.  He knows!
