Hope for Thursday

Matthew 2:19-20 - "But when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared in a dream to Joseph in Egypt, saying, 'Arise ad take the Child and His mother, and go into the land of Israel; for those who sought the Child's life are dead.'"

Sometimes we have to wait for hope.  Imagine poor Joseph.  He has been promised by the angel that the Child born to he and his wife is God, yet he must hide from men that want to kill Him.  How hard it is to drive a clunker when you have millions of dollars in the bank.  How hard it is to hide the Ruler of the mighty host of the galaxy from mere mortals with swords.

Yet, hope requires that we wait.  Without waiting, there can be no hope.

How do you respond to the seasons of life where you must be patient?
What do you do in the interim period between promise and hope?
For which promises are you still waiting?
