Joy for Tuesday
Philippians 2:2 - "Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, maintaining the same love, united in spirit, intent on one purpose."
Paul asks the Philippian church to help in God's process. Make my joy complete.
The suggestion is that there is an ending point for joy. Joy is something that you begin to live in, and something that God eventually completes in you. Further, Paul suggests that the way to help complete this joy is found in unity.
If we, together, attach ourselves to the purpose and person of Jesus Christ, then we, together, find the celebration that is the resurrected Son of God.
How has fellowship, or unity, drawn you toward Christ? Has that been a joyous journey?
What are you looking forward to celebrating with Christ?
How can you celebrate future joy today?
