Luke 13:34 - "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those sent to her!  How often I wanted to gather your children together, just as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you would not have it!"

This is an example of Joy denied.  How often have I wanted to hold you tight...  But you would not accept My love.

Jesus knows what it is like to pursue us.  He looks for all of us and desires that we accept His love.  His desire is that we would be filled with life, and sometimes we say 'no'.

How does Jesus pursue you?  Do you accept?
Do you look at joy as a gift from God?
Will you recognize Christ when He comes to you?
