Ephesians 1:6

"to the praise of the glory of His grace, which He freely bestowed on us in the Beloved."

Paul is suggesting that the love God pours out on us is the direct result of God's love for Jesus (the Beloved).

So, when God pours glory onto the person of Jesus Christ, we receive the by-product of that glory.

God gives glory to Jesus.  Which means that God Himself receives all glory.
Jesus (God) receives that glory, in one way, by showing His love for us.  This means that He displays the glory of God when He loves the unlovable.
When His love of the unlovable (us) flows, so does God's glory.

The glory of God's grace;  Freely given to us;  Freely given in the Beloved Son of God.

What does this mean for you and I?

God's love for us, and His glory, are both everlasting.
