Ephesians 3:1-2

"For this reason I, Paul, the prisoner of Christ Jesus for the sake of you Gentiles - if indeed you have heard of the stewardship of God's grace which was given to me for you;"

Paul has an interesting perspective when it comes to leadership.

We would call him a church planter.  We would say he is being obedient to God.  We would say he is lending his expertise to tell people about Christ.

Paul simply says he is a prisoner.

Why is he a prisoner?  for the sake of the Gentiles.  Why was God's grace given to Paul?  for the Ephesians.

From where does this humility come?

When you are in the presence of God, every perspective is changed.  I look much smaller and God much bigger.

Maybe today you should take another look at God.
