Ephesians 3:5
"which in other generations was not made known to the sons of men, as it has now been revealed to His holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit."
Paul is telling people that have not had access to the scripture that what they have now is actually better than what the prophets had.
The prophets spoke to and for God. The apostles spoke with God in the flesh.
But now, we have access to the word of God - every one of us. All because of the Holy Spirit.
What Paul is telling his readers is that they have a glimpse at the mighty God. How much weight will they put on that privilege? How much will they appreciate it? How much closer will they draw to God now that they have His word in their lives?
Will the word of God make a difference to you today?
